Introduction to Bullet Casting

Casting your own bullets is not only an enjoyable extension to the shooting sport, it allows the reloader a way to save a considerable amount of money on the single most expensive component - the bullet. Certain competitions such as metal plate and cowboy action shooting require the use of cast bullets.

Clark County Gun Club bullet casting and reloading equipment are avaialable for those with yearly memberships to use whenever they want. A prerequisite to using the CCGC bullet casting facility is the successful completion of this class.

This 5 plus hour class leads you through the details needed to safely cast your own bullets. You'll cast approximately 2 pounds of bullets of the caliber of your choosing as part of the class (limited to moulds on hand). Plenty of lead will be available for an additional fee for you to cast additional bullets after the class (you may not bring your own lead).
