Clark County Gun Club - Range Safety Officer

Qualified Range Safety Officers (RSO) are a critical element to any shooting range. RSOs oversee the firing lines to ensure that a safe environment is maintained, to help shooters with a variety of questions or problems, remind shooters and visitors of range rules and are the final authority on the firing line.

Clark County Gun Club requires NRA certification prior to becoming an RSO. While this class will provide the common knowledge and attitude to be a RSO at most ranges, range specific training will still be required. See more details if you are interested in applying as a CCGC RSO and receive the benefits offered by our program.

This 8 plus hour class leads you through the details needed to safely manage the operation of a generic shooting range. An additional 2 plus hours will be required if you would like to apply to become an RSO at CCGC.

The class fee includes all materials needed to complete the NRA class. Additional materials will be provided should you apply for and are accepted into the CCGC RSO Program.
