Combat Focus Shooting™

Even though you may feel empowered, safe and secure with the knowledge that you have a firearm in your home or on your body, do you REALLY know how and would you REALLY be able to effectively use it in an emergency?

When people find themselves in a life and death scenario, their reactions - panic, fear and anger take control, often resulting in them making a poor decision.

Combat Focus Shooting teaches you how the body reacts under severe stress. Class participants are taught what the body is most likely going to do naturally and how to use those reactions to your benefit.

CCGC is Hosting Combat Focus Shooting Classes
CCGC is honored to host Combat Focus Shooting as taught by a trainer personally certified by Rob Pincus. Rob is a world class instructor who co-hosts the television program "Best Defense" with Michael Bane where he also has weekly segments focusing on self-defense.

Rob ensures that only the best students become certified instructors resulting in a small and elite group. We are privileged that one, Jeff Varner, calls The English Pit Shooting Range his Home Range and teaches the CFS classes hosted by our facility.

About Combat Focus Shooting
For decades combat shooters have known (and progressive trainers have acknowledged) that the human body and mind have predictable, instinctive responses to surprise and lethal threats.

While the basics of weapons handling and marksmanship are important skills for all shooters, they are not the basics for success during most lethal encounters involving the defensive use of a handgun. You are much more likely to be caught off-guard by an aggressive attacker in close quarters and low light than you are to be confronted by a truly lethal threat in broad day light standing 30 yards away in front of a dirt berm.
